Cloud Engineer

• Collaborating with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloudsolutions.
• Modifying and improving existing systems.
• Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives.
• Designing, developing and deploying modular cloud-based systems.
• Developing and maintaining cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.
• Ensuring efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with
• company security policies and best practices in cloud security.
• Identifying, analyzing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.

• Regularly reviewing existing systems and making recommendations for improvements.
• Interacting with clients, providing cloud support, and making recommendations based on client needs.

• Strong hand-on experience with one or more Cloud environments (Azure/AWS/GCP) includingsecurity, data transfer and resource scaling.
• Follow test driven development to enable continuous improvement through refactoring.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation.
• Strong Unix/Linux flavors management knowledge.
• AWS Services: EC2, S3 Buckets, VPCs, ALB, EBS, EKS, ECS, S3 CloudWatch, IAM, RDS, Secrets Manager, security hub, trusted advisor, WAF

•  Knowledge in Dockers swarm.
• Strong understanding of AWS Security Model.
• Must have knowledge of using Scripting languages like Python/Shell/Powershell, Automation of infrastructure deployments.

• Experience in CloudFormation templates & Terraform Experience with deployment stratergies like blue green & rolling updates

• Knowledge of DevOps tools like Jenkins/Octopus/CodeDeply, Nexus/JFrog, Git & GitLab, Static code analysis tools like Sonarqube etc.,

• Experience with using tools for logging, monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus
